Audi ABS or brake light on WARNING
WARNING WARNING WARNING
If either one of the brake or ABS warning lights are on on the instrument panel, the following will occur:
1) ABS WILL BE DISABLED
2) BRAKING WILL BE ASSYMETRICALLY SHIFTED TO REAR WHEELS
3) BRAKING WILL BE HARDER (PEDAL WILL BE HARDER). IT WILL BE HARDER TO STOP THE CAR AS FRONT BRAKES WILL NOT BE APPLIED AS HARD AS THEY SHOULD. REAR BRAKES WILL BE APPLIED INSTEAD.
4) THE RELATIVELY SMALL REAR BRAKE PADS WILL WEAR OUT FAST
5) THERE WILL BE UNEVEN TIRE WEAR ON REAR TIRES (SIGNIFICANT)
6) CAR WILL BE NOT AS STABLE IN HARD BRAKING OR BAD WEATHER BRAKING. CHANCES OF LOSS OF CONTROL OR SPINOUT WILL BE INCREASED
IF EITHER ONE OF THOSE LIGHTS IS ON, GET IT REPAIRED IMMEDIATELY.
