How do I replace the 97 Honda Accord fuel filter?

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES TRY TO REPLACE THE FUEL FILTER YOURSELF. THIS IS AN IMPOSSIBLE JOB. AND NO, HAYNES manual, THERE IS NO ACCESS FROM UNDER THE VEHICLE.

FOR A CAR AS OLD AS THIS ONE, YOU WILL AT FIRST HAVE DIFFICULTY EVEN UNSCREWING THE FUEL LINES. THEY WILL BE STUCK.

THEN YOU WILL HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO ACCESS IF YOU DO NOT FEEL LIKE TAKING ENGINE COMPONENTS OFF. IF YOU HAVE LARGE HANDS FORGET ABOUT THIS JOB.

THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO SPACE IN THERE TO GET THE WRENCH IN.

YOU WILL ALSO TWIST AND BEND THE SUPPORT BRACKET WHEN TRYING TO UNSCREW THE FUEL LINES. YOU WILL THEN BE UNABLE TO PUT IT IN ITS PLACE.

FORGET DOING THIS FOR A TUNE-UP OR IF YOU THINK THAT THIS IS WHAT CAUSES YOUR ENGINE FAILURE. TRY OTHER THINGS INSTEAD FIRST. RESEARCH "MAIN RELAY" AS WELL IF YOU HAVE ENGINE PROBLEMS.
