Q: How can I recover from a frozen full-screen game without completely turning off power to the computer?

A: Try the following. If pressing and holding alt+tab does not minimize the game, but shows the taskbar, you are better off. Try pressing and holding ctrl+alt+del for some time. then press alt+e (this solution assumes that task manager has been opened and has highlighted the game as a task. When you press alt+e, and sometimes enter, it enters the command to kill the process. If this still does not work, try pressing the power button briefly. Your computer should go to standby or hibernate. Press the power button again and it should show the logon screen. Log in into another account, start the task manager, and kill the game from that account.

Q: How do I completely turn off Sticky Keys so that the notice never appears?

A: What you need to do is launch keyboard options, and make sure to deselect the Sticky Keys option on both dialogs that appear, not just on the second one. If you don't the notice will appear every time you restart.

Q: How do I deal with locked, corrupt files and long filenames?

A: A neat small program called Unlocker can solve most of these issues. What's stupid is that in Windows, it is possible to create a file with a filename that is so long that Windows cannot delete (that's AFTER just allowing you to create that file). Those too-long files are very hard to deal with. You will have to try to move them to another directory first. If not, you will need special software like Unlocker to delete it. As far as locked files go, Unlocker not only tells you what exact program is using the file, but can unlock the file. This utility is a must-have for Windows users.

Q: I work with many files and folders / windows open. How can I make my life easier?

A: If you are a proficient user, and not a stupid user, things like selecting your each folder to open in its own window, and enabling "move to" and "copy to" both in your right-click menu and the explorer window will help you greatly.
