Excel plot error
Excel plot will fail in automatic data, axis, or legend selection for one or more the following reasons:
A. First cell on column top is not an alphanumeric cell. If the first cell of the column is a numeric cell only, then plot will fail. Solution: rename data in first cell to be an alphanumeric title of the column, or create such a title cell.
B. Empty cells which actually contain improper data, such as NaN, #REF, etc.
C. Textual or alphanumeric data in any cells will cause excel plot error. All cells below the first cell of the column must contain proper NUMERIC contents only, and must be formatted as NUMERIC.
Sometimes, plot will fail in seemingly good numeric cells data. If you find this, then plot partial amount of data (do not go down all the way in your selection) until you find the offending cell.
