FreeFileSync Feature Requests

FreeFileSync is one of the most useful utilities I use. A few more features would make the utility even more beneficial:

Critical: only affect (delete) files at the destination if the source has a folder with the same name. If the backup HD (destination) has other folders, do not delete them.

Configuration-specific ignore lists.

"Browse" button to add entries to the ignore list.

Most file operations are moves to another directories, folder or filename renames, etc. It would be efficient, when a file in the destination is not found, to scan the rest of that folder to see if it was moved in the source to another location. If the utility sees the file in another location in the source, then the file should be moved in the destination instead of being deleted first, and then recreated at the proper location.

Bug or missing feature: only relative directories are understood in the ignore list. Absolute ones are ignored.
