Cannot add image to page

Symptoms:

You add an image thru FTP or the Image Manager. It appears in the image manager, and can be viewed there.

However, when you attempt to add an image to CMSMS thru the Insert/Edit Image button, you see a square with an X for the image previous in the CMSMadeSimple File Selection filename list.

Clicking on the image has no effect: its details are not added.

Possible solution: your image filename contains an apostrophe in the filename, or another character which is not allowed. Edit the filename to only contain alphanumeric characters, spaces, or underscore.
