Computer immediately comes out of standby
If your computer does not stay in standby or hibernate, and instantly comes out of power save mode ("resumes") – Try turning off "let this device bring computer out of standby" first for devices such as the keyboard and the mouse.
If this does not help, then it may be USB power supply jumper. Refer to your motherboard to set these jumpers to +5VSB (or similar). Quoting from my manual:
"Set these jumpers to +5V to wake up the computer from S1 sleep mode (CPU stopped, DRAM refreshed, system running in low power mode) using the connected USB devices. Set to +5VSB to wake up from S3 and S4 sleep modes."
Note: each bank of USB ports has a separate jumper. Your computer may contain two or more of these jumpers, and you need to set all of them accordingly.
