Cannot remove laptop keyboard

To remove laptop keyboard you usually need to remove the top portion of laptop case. This is usually secured thru bolts in the back of the case. Sometimes, snap-in attachment is used.

The laptop on most laptops is secured by bolts which are revealed when the top casing is removed. Usually, the keyboard is additionally held in place with snap-in attachment. Carefully pop it out by using a tool such as a putty knife BEING CAREFUL NOT TO bend or cut the keyboard and / or the keyboard cable. Before the keyboard can be removed completely, the laptop keyboard cable must be disconnected.

If the keyboard is not coming out even after you have removed all of the bolts, it may be additionally secured in place with an adhesive tape, as shown here:
