The Chareto Mistake
My elmer has recently loaned me a Baofeng amateur (ham) UV-5R radio charger.
It lists the following instructions on the bottom plate sticker:
The label lists the following usage instructions:
"PLACE TYPE Li-ion BATTERY CHARGER"
"Note:Prevent cooks meals or is injured, only battery assigns carry on the charge."
"Bright trickling charge(battery stops using has been long)/the chareto mistake."
Not having been able to find the definition of the word "chareto", I would now like to introduce the following phrase into the popular lexicon:
"The Chareto Mistake"
Definition: An ominous warning, given with little or no information about the nature of the warning or the threat.
With such a definition, this phrase can be used in many interesting ways, for example:
"That was a Chareto mistake!"
"Doing so would be a Chareto mistake!"
"Be careful; proceeding (or taking this further, etc) would be a Chareto mistake!"
