Pacific Power Source AMX Series troubleshooting

If the power supply says

"power source output is in shutdown mode"

Then you have exceeded the current output capability of the power supply. Refer to the output specifications of the power supply from the user manual, as well as to the power derating plots given in the manual.

If you are using the power supply at low output voltages, but you need additional current, then use a step-down three-phase transformer to get more current.

 

If you only wish to eliminate this problem from occasionally occurring and shutting down your setup, then you can set the power supply to act in current-limiting mode by lowering its output voltage if more than the rated current is requested.
