Copper Sulfate in the computer liquid cooling system
DO NOT EVER ADD Copper Sulfate TO YOUR COMPUTER LIQUID COOLANT SYSTEM.
ALTHOUGH COPPER SULFATE IS LISTED AS BEING USED IN AQUARIUMS TO PREVENT MOLD AND BACTERIAL GROWTH, THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO YOUR COMPUTER SYSTEM.
COMPUTER COOLANT USUALLY CONTAINS MORE GLYCOL THAN WATER. ADDING COPPER SULFATE WILL RESULT IN PRECIPITATION OF COPPER SULFATE AS FLAKES, WHICH WILL CLOG UP YOUR COOLING SYSTEM AND RESULT IN A HUGE AMOUNT OF TIME REQUIRED TO FLUSH OUT THE SYSTEM.
