Computer not starting
Computer not starting, symptoms:
Keyboard lights do not flash
Display does not turn on
BIOS does not start
NOTHING APPEARS, BLACK SCREEN
You have played around with hardware, done upgrades, opened computer case prior.
Possible causes: Memory not seated properly. Remove all memory modules, make sure they are the right types, that they are oriented properly, and inserted until the tabs click into place (you insert memory by pressing gently but properly on the modules. Tabs on the sides slide into positions by themselves, you do not press on the tabs on the motherboard).
Also, power supply to the Video Card (if separate cable), other cables, CPU, etc may be malfunctioning.
