Sunbeam and Oster 2774 Blender Gasket and Recipe book

The replacement rubber gasket for the Sunbeam or Oster 2774 model blender is not available for sale separately. Only the whole blade assembly can be purchased.

This part can be purchased from the manufacturer for about $13, or it can be obtained cheaper from eReplacementParts for $9. Purchase two at a time because the gasket does not last.

I asked the manufacturer why the gasket was not available separately. I can see that many people are looking for a cheap replacement gasket. A rep told me that this is because the supplier has made the blade assembly this way. I suspect that Sunbeam purchases the blade assembly whole from a sub-supplier. Once again, the gasket CANNOT be found anywhere online separately from the blade assembly.

You can obtain a replacement manual for this blender, but a "recipe book" was not included with this unit. The Bullet blender is the one that comes with a recipe book.
