The writer of the above review is absolutely correct. I bought (Costco Maui) three sets of snorkel equipment (1-large and 2 mediums) and on the very first use the hinge area broke on both pairs of mediums. These fins were not abused or improperly used in any matter. I plan on returning all three sets. I've used US Divers equipment for years and have always been impressed with the quality and durability of their products; there maybe some type of design or production flaw with the hinge area in this model.
