Military books reviews
The following is a list of books I bought in a military surplus store. As these can't be bought in a regular bookstore, they won't get a separate webpage for each book.
TM 10-276: Hot weather clothing and equipment
Review: Of no value.
AF 64-5: Aircrew Survival
Review: Of no value.
FM 23-35: Pistols and revolvers
Review: I'm sure those who know little about guns, and haven't held one will grab this book. I recommend you just go to a handgun safety course instead and satisfy your curiosity.
FM 21-11: First Aid for soldiers
Review: Take an EMT course instead. Plus, you can volunteer for your firefighting organization.
ST 31-91B: US Army special forces medical handbook
Review: Take an EMT course instead. Plus, you can volunteer for your firefighting organization.
FM 21-26: Map reading and land navigation
Although few people use maps anymore, civilians should be familiar with map reading and land navigation. Trust me, it'll get you out of trouble many times.
FM 21-76: Survival
If you get this one cheap, it can be an alternative to modern and expensive books on survival.
