Library of Congress non English or translation registration
The following information cannot be found in LOC online FAQs, and is something that I had to research myself and call reps about.
1) LOC accepts works that are not in the English language, as long as they will be published or sold in the US.
2) The title of the book would have to be phonetically spelled in English letters.
3) If you are the translator, and have the rights to translate the original work, you are now the "author" of the translation. There is no need to refer to, or include the name of the original author.
