Verizon prepaid phone support numbers and issues

This was definitely hard to find. Do not call *611 or (888) 294-6804 if you want to reach a person. If you press "0" THEY SAY SORRY AND DISCONNECT YOU!!!

If you want to speak (or yell) at a person, you will need to get to a human elsewhere and have you transfer to prepaid support department. I tried the consumer sales at (800) 256-4646. One note, if they say they transferred you and you get a prompt to press "1" for english, and then asks for your phone number, then they transferred you to *611. Hang up, you won't reach a person that way.

When they transferred me, they said it was in Georgia so obviously something that they do not want many people to reach is a person for prepaid support.

 

As a second warning, after I changed my plan on their website (prepaid plan), it had no effect. If you need to change your plan, I would suggest *611 instead. And confirm that it has changed by watching the amount of the daily access fee on your online statement.
