Insane cost for a tax return

Does anyone other than me think it is insane for those people to make $200 for 30 minutes of work???

As suggested elsewhere on my website, shopping around always saves you money.

For example, late in the game Wal-Mart usually brings in third party accountants and discounts their services. It seems like Wal-Mart advertises $100 tax return.

Which is not very sane, still, but better than the sticker shock at other places.

Or you could do what you should, and find befriend someone who can do taxes.

Of course, not being lazy and learning how to do it yourself will not be suggested by me at this time.
