EMI metal foil tape for electronics

If you are looking for EMI metal foil tape to shield electronics, it is very hard to find even from electronics parts distributors. Here's a cheap solution. If you don not need to apply the tape to a PCB, and do not need to solder it to ground, then just go to a hardware store and buy aluminum foil / metal foil / HVAC tape.

If you are looking for either insulating or conductive foil tape (for electronics or electrical shielding applications, for example), the cheapest and most accessible place is home improvement stores -- HVAC section, where foil tape is sold for ductwork.
