Tenma Soldering Station replacement tips

The Tenma brand temperature controlled soldering stations are very affordable, even to the hobbyist. It, however, comes with a needle sharp tip, which is only usable for SMD work.

Tenma tips used to be hard to find, but some supplies are coming up with replacement tips.

I recommend to get a bigger "chisel" style tip for medium duty work, and big "conical" tip for heavy heating, and a rounded mini tip instead of the included needle sharp one.

And note: to replace the tip, you remove the tip plus the ceramic core attachment. Do not try to separate the tip from the ceramic piece. Consult pictures below:
