Cannot play Thor DVD
I am getting a feeling that they are putting some new copy protection on this DVD, or have screwed something up majorly. Windows 7 reports the disk as "UDF". I never thought that DVD discs are released in UDF.
Windows 7 reports the disk to be 41.7GB!
They also placed two files in there,
ŶũŤťůşŴųĮũŦů
ŶũŤťůşŴųĮŢŵŰ
So looks like another effort to drive those who want to rip DVDs crazy.
VLC 1.1.11 crashes trying to open the disc. To solve this problem, go to Media>Open Folder, click on the Disc, and then open VIDEO_TS.
Also no luck in ripping the DVD before my 1 day Blockbuster rent is over (getting errors). Looks like I will need to pay a late fee and keep it for one more day.
