Etymotic ER-6 Isolator headphones review

$99 MSRP

Note: the headphones I have bought were the previous version (ER-6, not ER-6i).

First thing that I need to note is that products by this company are EXPENSIVE. Having said that, the headphones are very good. They do block a lot of noise. Think of being able to listen to music with a loud vacuum cleaner running.

Additionally, these headphones require regular filter purchase and replacement. Make sure to buy extra filters when buying any of the headphones from this company. Also purchase Smartwrap Cord Winder.

Quality: my headphones failed about 2 or 3 years of use, which for such tiny headphones as these is amazing. Other headphones of this size will probably break constantly.

If you are on the budget, either buy "plug" style in-ear headphones from another company, or buy their "out of warranty" products.
