What I hate about Linux and other people's Linux articles

WHAT I HATE THE MOST ABOUT LINUX is that every tiny thing I need I have imlemented requires me to scour the Internet on details of how to implement it. Every tiny thing I need, I have to implement myself by modifying some files, configuring things, etc. In Windows, you just type what you want in a search engine. That leads you immediately to someone's software to implement that. You install the software and DONE!

In Linux, I have just spend three hours of my time trying things I found on the Internet. MOST ADVICE DID NOT WORK. I understand that it is better to be able to access and modify ANYTHING in Linux myself, but I HATE that I spend three hours on things that did not work.

On Linux, everything seems to be more complicated to the beginner end-user.

Another thing I hate about Linux is that articles on the Internet on how to modifications and tweaks to the system are never geared to an inexperienced (newbie) Linux user, and are therefore never stand-alone and complete. I will have to mention any pre-requisite knowledge as needed.
