Philips Norelco review and warranty

What I had is a 2004 model Philips Norelco G270 all in one hair trimmer.
Ok, so I KNEW it was a bad idea to let water into the trimmer. Both the motor and the charger plug rusted and stopped working. Expect about 3-4 years out of similar Philips products.
The warranty on these is 2 years. This may be different for other shavers and trimmers, it is up to you to find out.
The company rep who I have called said it was too late to return it for repair under warranty without a receipt, but I did get a savings coupon to buy another Philips product!
