How to replace car side mirror (glass only)
Title: actually the round mirror
Actually the best spot for the round mirror is the lower outside corner. Not the top. It is in your direct view when on the upper side and you don't want it to hinder what you need to see up close and direct. Things in the upper corner need to be life size scale for quick reaction decisions. When it's in the lower corner you can use it as a secondary choice like to see two lanes off to your side to give you a wide idea of where you are and what's in your vicinity. Also the top of the mirror should be tilted down enough so the round mirror is not smack dab it the middle of line sight of the car or object behind next to you. In other words you don't need to see any clouds in your mirror. As for the inside edge you need to be able to see down the side of your vehicle and you must be able to see the rear wheel where it touches the ground. How else are you going to back up and not hit a curb. All of these things need to be in your mirrors sight so you can see it at an instants glance. It could mean life of death if you got to rise from your laid back gangster recliner position to avoid side swiping a car on the freeway.
