How to replace car side mirror (glass only)
Thanks for the adhesive recommendation. RTV silicone was all I have been able to find. I did not think of Liquid Nails (M). It will take a long time to dry for sure.
In home use I have had to support mirrors for 48hrs or pick the pieces up from the floor. Talk about a mess cleaning it off the walls. Might as well be chipping concrete off.
FYI: Tape the center of the mirror to help with chips (masking or duct tape). Heat the perimeter of the mirror with a heat gun or hair drier. Then use a plastic putty knife to slowly pry it out = 2-3min removal not including adhesive clean-up. I found replacement mirrors on amazon for $7.51 each free shipping via prime account (sienna). ** easier to remove in one piece! **

I choose to disagree with you.
1) My mirror is adjusted so that the only way to see the side of the car is by pressing the head against the side window
2) It is also adjusted with cars appearing in the lower corner, not the upper.
3) By placing the mirror on the top, I am not modifying the original mirror function. I can either see a car in the lower corner of the mirror, or look in the small mirror as well to check for cars to be sure.
