Q: I get video artifacts on my laptop screen (bars, lines, discoloration, etc).
A: Check the video cable connector, especially if you have taken the laptop apart before, laptop was dropped, is old, etc. Try moving the cable around to see of those artifacts change or move around. If they do, then you found the source of the problem.
