How to choose the best vitamins

If you think that taking a Centrum vitamin means you are doing what you can to help your body, you are very mistaken.

You will need to know many things before a good vitamin can be chosen.

Firstly, the horrible stuff present in Centrum:

Crospovidone, Cyanocobalamin, FD&C Blue No. 2 Aluminum Lake, Hydrogenated Palm Oil, Polyethylene Glycol, Polyvinyl Alcohol, Sodium Benzoate, Sucrose, Talc, Sodium Aluminosilicate, Crospovidone, titanium dioxide, Pregelatinized Corn Starch, Corn Starch, FD&C Red No. 40 Aluminum Lake, Gelatin, Modified Food Starch, Silicon Dioxide, MSG

It is in the reader's best interest to research every one of the horrible components above.

So what then is a good multivitamin?

A capsule (not a tablet), a suggested dose of at least 2 capsules a day, preferably "natural", or food-based (much better) based ingredients. Phytonutrients would help greatly as well.

Don't buy your multivitamin in a mainstream store. Go for specialized healthy stores like the Whole Foods Market.

Suggested brands:

Lucky Vitamins

Pioneer

Designs for Health

Pure Encapsulations

Raw ONE

Rainbow Light
